7 But when you pray, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask Him.

9 “Therefore pray in this manner:

Our Father who is in heaven,
hallowed be Your name.
